Infección de tus dispositivos con Malware

La infección de tus dispositivos (PC, ordenador portátil, teléfono móvil, Tablet, etc.) por malware es uno de los ciberfraudes más peligrosos que puedes sufrir, más aún, si desde dichos dispositivos accedes a la banca electrónica.

 

A través del mismo, los delincuentes pueden conseguir, prácticamente, un control total de tu dispositivo: hacer y recibir llamadas desde tu móvil, capturar tus SMS’s, acceder a tus aplicaciones y contactos, apagar/encender el dispositivo, capturar tus tecleos, etc.

 

Los mecanismos para conseguir que te instales el malware (virus) pueden ser muy diferentes y variados. Te indicamos a continuación los más frecuentes:

 

  • Envío de SMS’s o Email’s haciéndose pasar por conocidas empresas de mensajería en los que te indican que tienes un envío pendiente de recoger y que, para ello, debes descargarte una aplicación para la que te facilitan el enlace descarga. Esa aplicación contiene el virus que se instalará en tu dispositivo.
  • Publicación en internet de aplicaciones que permiten acceder a contenidos de forma gratuita: eventos deportivos, canales de TV, plataformas audiovisuales, etc. Estas aplicaciones contienen el virus que se instalará en tu dispositivo.
  • Publicación en internet de aplicaciones de uso común, por ejemplo: para lectura de códigos QR, calculadoras, geolocalización, etc. que en su instalación solicitan el permiso para la descarga de otras aplicaciones, que son las que posteriormente se instalan automáticamente y contienen el virus.
  • Publicación de aplicaciones fraudulentas supuestamente de entidades financieras legítimas en sitios no oficiales de descarga (generalmente ficheros .apk para dispositivos Android)

 

Es muy importante que ni te descargues ni permitas descargas o instalaciones en tus dispositivos desde sitios de internet o markets no oficiales. Asimismo, controla los permisos que das en la instalación de aplicaciones y redúcelos al máximo.
